Rules and regulations for the Back Loft:

· For health and safety reasons and public liability insurance artists are required to bring their own hammers as well as their own materials to hang artworks.

· Obstruction of the emergency exits and corridors is strictly forbidden!

· Smoking, candles etc. is prohibited in any part of the premises.

· Ladders and other props (curtains, fabric) may be used only upon previous agreement with the Back Loft proprietor.

· Rubbish and materials connected to the exhibited items must be removed at end of the show.

· Do not disturb studios' artists nor use their tea facilities when walking through the studios' corridors.

· The walls must be cleared of price stickers, blue tack, nails and screws. The holes on the walls ought to be repaired with plaster and painted over with white paint only, which may be provided on request by the proprietor.

Neither the proprietor of the Back Loft nor the organisers of the event are responsible for accidents to the participants whilst installing their art work nor are responsible for any damage or theft.

Security:

Whilst accessing the studios to take part in the exhibition, the front door must be kept closed at all time or supervised whilst carrying materials and art work up the stairs.
